Griselda Records leader Westside Gunn is on an incredible run. After signing a Roc Nation management deal along with Benny The Butcher earlier this month, he achieved another grand milestone on Wednesday (August 28) — and it literally hits even closer to home.
Byron Brown, the mayor of Buffalo, New York, officially proclaimed August 28 as Alvin “Westside Gunn” Worthy Day in the city.
“Mr. Worthy is a proud Buffalo native who is achieving great success in the music industry, having recently signed a management deal to [JAY-Z’s] Roc Nation label,” Brown tweeted.
