Tom Douglas is an American executive chef, restaurant owner, author and radio presenter. He is known for winning the 1994 James Beard Award for Best Chef in the Northwest. In 2012, it also won the James Beard Award for Best Restaurant. He is the author of Seattle Kitchen by Tom Douglas, which was named Best American Cookbook of 2001 by the James Beard Foundation and KitchenAid. In 2005, he appeared in an episode of Food Network's Iron Chef America, in which he beat chef Masaharu Morimoto.
