The comedian, following his beloved, opens up new career horizons. Kim Kardashian Proud: Pete Davidson Stars in H&M Menswear Ads
Davidson has seen sporting pieces of H&M’s current and past men’s clothing collections in the drive. Taking benefit of the brand’s last collections for the campaign, H&M seeks to inspire men around the world to appreciate what they already have and buy vintage and H&M men’s clothing collections. Add important new pieces.
Comedian and part-time lover of Kim Kardashian – Pete Davidson – became the face of a new advertising campaign for the H&M men’s collection. In a funny promo video, the Saturday Night Live star is walking with a friend when he hears a compliment about his Hawaiian shirt, for which he thanks his companion. The dialogue is repeated over and over again, but the audience notices a car chasing the duo, in which sits a talking parrot.
To create the spring-summer collection, the brand’s designers were inspired by the fashion of the 1980s and 90s, as well as their favorite musicians, who are distinguished by their eccentricity and individuality. The project is dedicated to a new movement in men’s fashion, where individual style is valued above fleeting trends.
Davidson’s H&M drive is just the most delinquent project for comedians in the fashion world. Last December, Davidson was wiped by Calvin Klein to take over the brand’s Instagram account, where he shared photos of himself wearing the brand’s works and appeared on Instagram Live with musician Machine Gun Kelly, where he conveyed his Calvin Show pure briefs.
As conceived by the creatives of H&M, the new campaign encourages shoppers to be conscious of their choice of clothes and mix new clothes with existing ones or vintage ones. It is worth noting that in the video, Pete demonstrates both the clothes of the new season and the brand’s favorite clothes from past collections.
