Savannah Chrisley and her fiancé Nic Kerdiles are taking a step back in their relationship. Thanks to her new hairstyle, fans are wondering if the two have called off their engagement.
After she debuted a cute new pixie haircut on social media, Chrisley was inundated with comments asking about her relationship status with Kerdiles. There is a theory that women tend to switch up their styles, especially hair do’s when a romance has ended.
Chrisley is shutting down that theory and any speculation regarding her engagement.

“It’s insane. I get so many women, younger and older, messaging me about self-confidence and they don’t have the confidence to do this that the other and I’m a full believer in women empowerment and doing what makes you feel good. That’s what that caption was about. Doing something, going out on a limb, finally having the guts to do something you’ve always wanted to do, so that was me,” she told E! News.
The 22-year-old went on to admit she and Kerdiles are taking a step back in their relationship but not in a bad way. Chrisley reiterated they are still engaged.
However, the couple is focused on their “God-centered” relationship. They are taking this phase of their romance day by day, with no impending plans to wed.
“Marriage isn’t just for the Instagram, it’s not for the photos, it’s not a photo-opp. It’s a real-life thing,” she explained.
Chrisley did not go into detail regarding why she and her fiancé felt the need to make this shift in their relationship. She merely stated they are taking the next step, marriage, extremely seriously.

The couple became engaged on Christmas Eve last year. They had been dating for one year when Kerdiles popped the question in front of close family and friends. The proposal was filmed for the family’s reality TV show Chrisley Knows Best and was kept under wraps until the show aired in April.
Savannah Chrisley and her fiancé Nic Kerdiles are still engaged. Fans should not epact a wedding any time soon though. They are taking a step back in the relationship before marriage.

The news comes two months after her parents, Todd and Julie, were indicted on tax evasion and fraud charges. They were cleared of state tax evasion charge earlier this month but still face federal charges for allegedly evading federal taxes in the same years.
