A record-breaking AVSC tournament has landed on the Gold Coast for 2023 with nearly 5,500 students gearing up to represent their schools from December 3-9.

A total 150 schools from every corner of Australia and New Zealand will compete this year.

More Coverage

There are 100 new teams entered in the competition compared to 2022, bringing the number of teams across all divisions to 500.

Exponential growth, from Year 7 to Opens, has meant a need to expand.

For the first time, AVSC will be hosted across four Gold Coast venues: Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium, Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre, Coomera Indoor Sports Centre and Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium.
