After completing a Bachelor of Arts at The University of Melbourne (English Literature/Art History), Alison started her career in the Australian media industry in 2003. Since then, she has gone on to work across a multitude of mediums - from fashion styling for women's glossy magazines to managing mass digital platforms, directing e-commerce websites and bringing broadcast TV into the digital realm, she has never been afraid to expand her skills into unknown fields. With a background primarily in fashion (including time in both print and digital at DOLLY, CLEO, Popsugar Australia, Jones Magazine, ELLE, Harper's BAZAAR and Cosmopolitan), she has recently switched gears and turned her focus to her true passion - health and fitness. Alison is currently the Digital and Beauty Director at Body+Soul and Stellar magazines, and the sometime co-host of Body+Soul's Healthy-ish podcast. She enjoys combining her professional skills - crafting inspiring stories - with her personal loves, like attempting the latest workout trends and drinking her body weight in kombucha in the name of research.
